LONGi's line of automatic cleaning electromagnetic crossbelt separatorscome with a wrap around belt to automatically clean and discharge the magnet. The magnet catches tramp iron using a high gradient magnetic field and then clears the material off of it by use of inertia and gravity as the belt circles the unit.

LONGi's line of automatic cleaning electromagnetic crossbeltseparators are a good fit for many customers. By using, only, the best insulation they have a very low rise in the temperature, are able to penetrate a high burden depth with a strong magnetic field, require low amounts of electricity and offer consistent and dependable results.
The core of the magnets uses DT4 electrically pure iron. This allows for a high gradient in the electrical field by way of it having a highly magnetic absorbency and the field is highly saturated from the beginning. This solves the problem of having fluctuating magnetic fields do to temperature and creates consistent results in operation.

Applications
The automatic cleaning electromagnetic crossbelt are used in, most all, industries such as escrap processing, granular processing facilities, MURFs, power plants, nonferrous mines, scrap yards and cement plants to name just a few. They are able to take out small and large pieces of ferrous which helps clean the material being processed as well as reducing wear and damage to the equipment it goes through after.
