Manually cleaned permanent magnetic separators are generally used over a conveyor belt when there is a minimal amount of tramp metal in the mixture, but, the customer still wants clean material and/or to protect downstream equipment. These units have a handle that to release the tramp iron. If used properly these units last a very long time without maintenance.


Applications
The automatic cleaning electromagnetic crossbelt are used in, most all, industries such as escrap processing, granular processing facilities, MURFs, power plants, nonferrous mines, scrap yards and cement plants to name just a few. They are able to take out small and large pieces of ferrous which helps clean the material being processed as well as reducing wear and damage to the equipment it goes through after.
