For many types of ores, a pulsater is a great addition to the unit to enable better beneficiation. When it is utilized the WHIMS can, in a single stage, acts as both a rougher and a cleaner.  

Product Details
The vertical WHIMS with a pulsater has been a widely used, critical piece of equipmentand is a renowned and recognized technology extensively used in oxidized ores such as hematite or limonite. Ores such as manganese and other minerals that are paramagnetic as well as purifying nonferrous slurries of materials where the fe content is gangue material. The WHIMS itself uses a combination of a highly magnetic field, pulsation of the slurry and gravity. The pulsater allows for the materials to be removed in a single pass through the WHIMS by moving the material through the magnetic field, multiple times per stage.

LONGi's WHIMS is a very efficient machine that removes ferrous from a wide variety of mineral and ore types by using a combination of a highly magnetic field, pulsation of the slurry and gravity. It has a vertical ring style and a specialized matrix design and materials that creates a strong and stable magnetic field to realize the best results without easily jamming.

By changing the magnetic field intensity of the unit it is very versatile and can be used to beneficiate a wide variety of both ferrous and nonferrous materials based on their specific assets.

Applications
The LONGI WHIMS is a highly efficient unit that uses a combination of magnetism, an adjustable slurry pulsator along with gravity to clean up materials that are weakly magnetic or paramagnetic like, hematite, chromite, franklinite, ferberite, siderite, tantalite, limonite and manganese to name just a few. It also can be used as an important component in the purification of nonmetal materials such as porcelain, quartz, talc and so on.

The particle range of the material being fed can be from - 5 microns min to 6 mm max.
